The Studio3 Wireless is Beats’ update to its trademark line of noise-cancelling Bluetooth over-ear headphones. As the brand’s flagship product, one would expect something a bit flashier. Yet, it seems Beats meant to give the Studio3 a design that focuses on its sheer simplicity without letting go of its subtle flair. Unfortunately, such a bold choice can easily become a double-edged sword.
We got our hands on the stealthy Matte Black version of the headphone. It has a look that speaks volumes with regards to how the brand continues to mature over time. It creates an air of sophistication for the brand. It features stylish ear pads made of leather which go along perfectly with its smooth finish and its brushed metal extender frame.
Of course, it needs to be stated here that the subtlety of a minimalist design can be rather tricky. At times, the sheer simplicity of the design can also feel rather boring. Undoubtedly, some people will feel like Beats went with a conservative aesthetic choice for this headphone, and no one would blame them.
Overall, the Beats Studio3 Wireless is a pretty decent upgrade for a product known for its high-quality sound delivery.
